With more than 165 years of experience in the field of optics, Essilor was born in 1972 as a result of the merger of two French companies: Essel and Silor.
Today Essilor is present in more than 100 countries and has 33 manufacturing plants, 16 distribution centers and 490 prescription laboratories. To date, Essilor has a leading position in the production of eyewear lenses.
This model of the early 80's is made in France and is very convenient to use as reading glasses due to the frameless lower part of the frame.

The key measurement is the frame width, which is the distance from the inside of the right temple to the inside of the left temple.
