MCM 72 80s vintage glasses
MCM (Mode Creation München) is a luxury brand founded in Munich, Germany, in 1976. Initially known for its high-end leather goods, MCM expanded into eyewear, bringing the brand's distinctive flair and attention to detail into the world of fashion accessories.
MCM eyewear is characterized by its bold, innovative designs that often incorporate the brand’s iconic logo and signature patterns. The brand's eyewear collections blend luxury with a modern aesthetic, offering a wide range of styles from classic to avant-garde, often featuring premium materials such as acetate, metal, and high-quality lenses.
We are happy to present these designer eyeglasses by MCM from the 1980s, featuring a beautifully crafted smaller aviator-shaped frame. The striking green and black color combination is elegantly complemented by gold details on the nose part, double bridge, and temples, adding to the luxurious appeal.
Made in Germany, this frame is a fine example of MCM’s signature attention to detail and craftsmanship. Designed by Michael Cromer in Munich, this approximately 35-year-old collector’s piece is a true statement of individuality and timeless style.

Our glasses come with detailed measurements in the product description.
The key measurement is the frame width, which is the distance from the inside of the right temple to the inside of the left temple. To ensure a perfect fit width-wise, we recommend measuring an existing frame that fits you comfortably, providing a valuable reference. For minor size concerns like nosepads and temple lengths, an optician can make adjustments.
We've also included a size guide in the glasses description to assist your selection.

It depends on the frames. While we strive to include the original case with every purchase, we don't always have the original case available. However, you can rest assured that we provide our signature hard case and a cleaning cloth with each purchase.
