Silhouette was founded in 1964 by Anneliese and Arnold Schmied, they revolutionized eyewear, elevating it from a visual aid to a desired accessory. The debut handcrafted collection in Linz marked the inception of a new era in eyewear fashion. Silhouette's vision of eyewear as a symbol of individuality quickly resonated globally, the brand's iconic Futura sunwear collection, introduced in the 1970s, became an international sensation, leaving an enduring legacy in the fashion world.
These Silhouette oversized sunglasses were made in the 70s in Austria and they instantly became a fashion accessory, bold and elegant at the same time. This Silhouette frame has a clear smokey acetate frame and it comes with blue gradient lenses. A very nice and rare frame from the 70s, every collectors dream!

The key measurement is the frame width, which is the distance from the inside of the right temple to the inside of the left temple. To ensure a perfect fit width-wise, we recommend measuring an existing frame that fits you comfortably, providing a valuable reference.
